FEEDBACK

Week 1:

Focus on birds and explore bird watching. Refine the site map and mood board and find out what needs to be sketched out. Build the mood board and Create a wireframe.

- doesnt have to be all the birds

Week 5:

Ms anis said the presentation was quick and precise :D <3

Week 10-11:

Ms anis said I'm on the right track when referring to my proposed idea and that I should continue with the process of finalising

REFLECTION

Experience- Week 1: Ms anis briefed us on the project and it was pretty straightforward. we knew what to expect and how to move forward with the project and compile our ideas.

Week 2: This week was focused on refining the chosen idea which I consulted with ms anis.

Week 3-4: This 2 weeks I worked on developing my proposal and output (illustrations, wireframe & slides)

Week 6-8: Working on completing the mytiger poster for the competition submission it was a lot of composition and colour planning involved but it was fun to do a detailed illustration like this for once.

Week 9-11: These weeks I finalised my microsite and cleaned up some of the details and information.

Observation- Week 1:  I had to take note of the workload on my plate this semester before choosing an idea and to not bite off more than I can chew :(

Week 2-5 - I noticed that it was hard to pick a style of illustration (not a new experience for me heh) but bc my exploration for this project was to explore vector illustrations i would take this opportunity to work on my ai illustration skills.

Week 6-8: It was nice to see how the progress for a vector illustration works because I'm not used to illustrating on AI, so it was nice to learn better techniques along the way

Week 9-11: I noticed that I focus on work more when it comes to the final stages of touching up. I tend to fixate on finishing it up in one sitting until i eventually forget that I've been sitting staring at the screen for 5 hours straight... But the productive feeling is nice hehe

Findings:- Week 1: I found a wide range of ideas we can work on to focus on the topic of UNSGD goals however it was important to me to pick a topic that I had an interest in and was fun for me to execute.

Week 2-5: I found a lot of information about the Malaysian bird-watching community and how incredibly big it is! Very fascinating

Week 6-8: I learned new ways to approach vector illustrations when I stumbled upon issues trying to execute something. for example, creating a single gradient going in the same direction on multiple specific areas of the bird's body without it affecting the rest of the shapes.

Week 9-11: Finalising everything, i learned a lot of new skills by exploring and experimenting with UI UX design, especially using figma. It was a learning curve for me but i think as a beginner, i found it easier to use than Adobe XD
