INSTRUCTIONS

WEEK 1 Review:

Anchor Product Photography & CNY Greeting post:

My first week of internship at Vox Eureka went well. I had warm welcomes from everyone there and felt excited to start my training and work. The first task i got was to work on a product photography for several brands latest CNY Cookies which will be posted on their Instagram. 

Here are the stuff i had to do this week:

• Researched and brainstorm on Anchor Foodie CNY Cookies Photoshoot 
• Discussed about the colour scheme ○ Planned out props and background to use for the photoshoot ○ Created a moodboard to have a reference for props and shooting
•  Assist in Anchor Foodie CNY Cookie Photoshoot
• Took multiple variation of angles of the products 
• Assisted in prop arrangement and lighting
• Got assigned a brief to create a CNY greeting for Vox Eureka
• Worked on the Vox CNY Greeting 
• Sketched out initial layout of the greeting 
• Digitalised illustration into Illustrator 
• Got assigned to edit Anchor Foodie Photoshoot posts for instagram
•  Worked on the editing the Anchor Foodie Photoshoot posts for instagram 
• Colour corrected image 
• Edited out imperfections 
• Maintained branding
• Worked on animating the Vox Eureka Greeting 
• Animated the greeting using After Effects 
• Design lead helped with shortcuts and helpful tips for animation 

Reflection: Super tiring and it's only the first week huhu ;-; but i got to know the company and the people well they are very very friendly which makes the work worthwhile

WEEK 2 Review:

• Worked on edits and refinement for the Anchor Foodie Posts after getting feedback 
• Designed Sunway Group countdown post for instagram story
• Got assigned to the Megah Rise Mall (MRM) account 
• Sat in the briefing for Megah Rise and what my role is 
• Made edits after getting feedback for the Sunway Group Insta post 
• Refined my Vox CNY Greeting animation 
• Worked on small edits for the Sunway Group instagram 
• Cropping images and creating collages 
• Went to MRM for an on-ground photoshoot
• Worked on CNY Masthead Announcement Posts for MRM insta  
• Worked on edits after getting feedback for CNY Masthead Announcement Posts for Megah Rise insta 
• Worked on handover edits for 3 other priority CNY posts for MRM insta
• Worked on handover edits of the 4 priority CNY posts for MRM insta after getting feedback 

Reflection: I got assigned to an account which i will be working on their social media posts alongside the design lead, Ona. Because CNY was coming soon we had to crank out ALOT of posts before next week. and its only 2 designers.... it was about 13 posts in one week split between me and Ona. With that, I also had to juggle between other accounts work (im not a part of, but assisting bc other designers have their hands full) and minor edits after feedback.

WEEK 3 Review:

Nearing the end of the week, Unfortunately, Ona got sick and had to take an MC leave. Which means i was assigned to work on the edits after feedback on 5 different instagram posts which ranged from animation to carousel to just a single static post. It was urgent so i barely had any time to stand up and take a break and was working overtime. Eventhough the company does not encourage working OT, i'm kinda left with no choice. 

•  Recieved client feedback and worked on edits for MRM CNY posts:
• Masthead Announcement (static post) 
• CNY Weekend Activities (carousel) 
• CNY On-ground activities (carousel) 
• New Year New MRM (animation) 
• MRM Tenant promo template (static)
• Worked on the CNY Decoration post for MRM
•  Colour corrected photograph taken at the on-ground shooting 
•  Maintained branding 
• Worked on MRM CNY Decor edits after getting feedback
•  Worked on CNY Red-packet redemption post for MRM 
• Edited and reanimated Vox CNY Greeting after receiving feedback
•  Changed the colour scheme 
• Added logo for branding 
• Rearranged composition 
• Worked on editing a video reel for Pet friendly Areas at MRM 
• Rearrange clips taken at on-ground shooting 
• Searched for appropriate audio
• Edited according to feedback for the Pet friendly Areas at MRM video reel
• Compiled photographs of MRM mall for approval for insta post

Reflection: This week wasnt very fun haha...... i was drained and stressed out by the end of it but i had to prepare myself for CNY holidays and meeting the extended family.

WEEK 5 Review:

• Worked on the “What to do @ MRM” post 
• Did minor edits on the Pet friendly areas post based on client feedback
• Made edits on the  “What to do @ MRM” post based on feedback
• Worked on Thaipusam Greeting post for MRM
• Attended a Company CNY Dinner
• Made additional edits based on feedback for both Sunway Group and Megah Rise posts
• Continued editing the CNY recap video
• Got feedback from my design lead about the Thaipusam greeting and CNY recap cover design and made the changes
• Changed the colours to better fit with the feed
• Rearranged the text layout to be more consistent

This week was a little better than the last, i had a balanced workload but still, a lot of tasks to complete and multitask on. I find it difficult to multitask and jump in between multiple different projects from different accounts especially when you are expected to drop everything, reorganise ur priority list and work on the sudden urgent feedback that came in.

• Worked on the February content planning
• On-ground Content shoot

• Worked on Megah Rise Valentines day posts

• Delegated workload with design lead, Ona for next week

This week was properly planned i feel but it was delayed a bit because our team had to wait for clients approval and they weren't cooperating that well so it was more stressful for the management team

WEEK 7 Review:

• Edited changes for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf ad video
• Sunway Group pictorial edits
• Planned for Megah Rise on-ground shooting
• Compiled posts references & photography references
• Ideate on what to post in February
• Had a catch up meeting with my supervisor on my internship progress :)
• Slower day than usual while waiting for client responses and feedback
• Had a meeting to discuss March content ideas
• Pushed the February content ideas into March because of time consumption
• Planned for March content
• Created a moodboard for content ideas and references
• Worked more on the March content ideas and how to proceed with the February content making without the on ground shooting

This week was slow because we had to drop our initial plan and create a new plan for content and shooting dates because there were a lot of miscommunications. It was very messy but i did my part in preparing for content ideas to pitch to clients as best as i could in the meantime.

WEEK 8 Review:

• Worked on compiling content ideas for the month of March & April to be presented and discussed further with the team
• Went to a group up meeting with the whole team to discuss next month’s content and the upcoming on-ground shoot
• Made an On-ground shooting direction deck for the team to use as a reference
• Photography reference
• Video shot reference
• Worked on a giveaway announcement post for Megah Rise
• Refined the On-ground shooting direction deck for
• Went to the on-ground shoot at MRM
• Photographed : food, ambience, lifestyle, bartenders and drinks, shop interior and exterior
• Worked on a social media post for World Bartender Day
• Got assigned to help Sunway Group with their pictorial news posts
• Worked on the upcoming posts for MRM such as Tenant Highlights

The last week was really hectic! a lot of shoots to attend and urgent feedback to revert to but I'm glad i did my part :)
